Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an 8-hour course designed to teach
individuals how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental
health and substance use challenges. The training equips participants
with the skills to provide initial support and connect individuals to
appropriate professional help.
Addressing Mental Health at Work: Strategies for Prevention, Early Identification and Effective Intervention (6 hours, can be divide over multiple days)
Mental health is a critical component of employee well-being and organizational success. This comprehensive three-session program is designed to equip organizations with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent mental health crises, effectively manage them when they arise, and foster a supportive workplace culture.
Creating a Trauma Informed Workplace (4 hours, can be split)
Trauma-informed workplaces are organizations that operate with an
understanding of trauma's pervasive nature and its effects on
employee mental health and well-being. This approach aims to create a
safe, supportive environment that promotes healing and prevents re-
traumatization. Customized for industry specific needs (ie: health care,
Fire EMS, social services, etc.)
